I am a professional artist with my specialty being Pet Portraits drawn in pastel.
For over 50 years I have been gifted with the ability to create these works of art, treasured for more than a lifetime. With a wide array of pastel portraits displayed around the world; England, Germany, and numerous States throughout America, I am still amazed and blessed to render a likeness, channeled through me, that captures that expressive window to the soul.

I work in pastel from photographs provided to me through JPEG and PDF files sent in an e-mail. The clearer and better the photo is, the truer to life your pet portrait will be.
Please plan on a six-week timeframe for completion. Certain times of the year, such as Christmas, I have to turn away orders. Order early!
You may choose a head-study of your pet or a full-body portrait, more than one animal may also be included in one portrait. Pricing varies; stated below.
Gift Certificates are also available, and become the responsibility of the recipient to follow through on.
Your completed portrait is not rolled but is mailed flat in between two pieces of heavy card board and bubble wrap. I suggest that you have the portrait professionally framed as soon as possible; as it will be protected from the pastel smudging, and protected from dust once under glass.
- PRICING:
- For only ONE individual HEAD STUDY:
- 8” x 10” ~ $275
- 11” x 14” ~ $475
- 16” x 20” ~ $975
- Add for each ADDITIONAL HEAD STUDY / or for ONE FULL BODY portrait:
- 11” x 14” ~ ADD $200 ($475 + $200 = $675)
- 16” x 20” ~ ADD $300 ($975 + $300 = $1275)
- NOTE: additional head studies and full body portraits start with the 11" x 14" size; there is no 8"x10" size.
- (for full scenes, or for more than one full body portrait, or for more than two head studies in a portrait; pricing will be more than stated above, is at my discretion, and can be discussed).
- Matting and framing are not included in the above prices.
- Matting options may be discussed; prices vary.
- There is a $40 SHIPPING and HANDLING fee within the USA. For orders outside of the USA the mailing fees can get quite expensive and will be based on costs at the time. This may be discussed before placing your order.
- A 50% deposit, including shipping, on all orders before I begin is required.
